Frequencies, Vibration, Sound & Our Body

Frequencies, vibration, and sound all have an effect on our body. They all have the power to heal, as well as, the power to harm.

The human body itself generates infrasonic waves. We create our own mechanical vibrations at very low frequencies. Our frequency vibrations are caused by physiological processes such as the heartbeat, pulse, blood flow, respiratory movements, and various other processes. The word infrasonic is defined by Merriam-Webster dictionary as 1: Having or relating to a frequency below the audibility range of the human ear 2: utilizing or produced by infrasonic waves or vibrations.

Different organs are said to produce different resonance frequencies. The human heart has a resonance frequency of 1 Hz, the brain is 10 Hz, and our blood circulation is between 0.05 – 0.3 Hz. It’s not only humans that generate vibrational frequencies but basically all things that are alive even trees!

It’s Electric!

Not only does our body generate vibrational frequencies but they also conduct electrical currents as well. According to an article published on the University of Maryland Graduate School website “Electricity is required for the nervous system to send signals throughout the body and to the brain, making it possible for us to think, move, and feel”. It is the elements found in our body such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, and sodium that carry a specific electrical charge. Every cell in our body can use these electrically charged elements called ions to create electricity.

How It Affects Us

We’ve all heard that too much of anything can be a bad thing in almost any case. A study conducted on the blood pressure changes in a human during infrasonic exposure puts a little proof in the pudding. Even though infrasonic is defined as being inaudible to the human ear the study shows that it still has a negative effect on our very being. We don’t have to hear anything to be affected whether it be in a positive or negative way.

Sound, electrical impulses, and vibrational frequencies can be used to help with whole-body healing but it can also be disruptive and cause negative effects on the body too. For instance, an ElectroMagnetic Pulse can cause some serious damage. EMP’s are used during riots and war. These pulses are extremely dangerous and have negative impacts on us.

If you take a look at the other end of the spectrum you will see Magnetic Field Therapy that is used to heal. Electromagnetic Field Therapy comes through an electric pulse and is used to help our body in a positive way. Of course, it is nothing as intense or destructive. So you see, electromagnetic pulses can work both ways depending on how high the intensity levels are. You have harmful and healing EMP’s.

Sound

Sound can also create healing vibes, as well as, harmful vibes. We’ve all heard certain pitches that cause us to grind our teeth and cover our ears. We’ve also all heard soothing sounds that have the ability to lull us to sleep. There is music that amps us up and gets our hearts thumping and blood pumping and then there is music that is calming bringing us to such states of relaxation. Of course, there’s always a preference when it comes to things like that but either way,  they have the ability to cause harm or heal.

Neuroacoustic healing is something from the old days that have resurfaced. It is believed that neuroacoustic therapy can help with whole-body healing. There have been several studies done on the science behind it. Dr. Jeffery Thompson is the founder and director at The Center for Neuroacoustic Research, it’s some pretty interesting stuff. He was featured in the Heal documentary which goes in-depth on whole body healing using our psyche.

Our body is an amazing thing! It is so alive and in the proper environments, it thrives. Some people think of our body as a machine but it is so much more than that. It is like a magical vessel that takes care of our entire being if only we treat it right. There is a lot of great information, as well as, studies available that can blow your mind about our body. Whole-body healing is essential for whole-body health. Mind, body, and spirit! Happy Healing my friends!
