With the NBA lottery over and the playoffs coming to an end most teams are looking toward the future. Some people pay to much attention to the first pick forgetting that most great players are picked mid first round. As an example here is a list of players that are dominating now but went unnoticed during the draft. Damian Lillard was picked 6th. Klay Thompson was the 11th pick, Kawhi Leonard was picked 15th, Giannis Antetokoumpo was the 15th pick and Stephen Curry was picked 7th just to name a few. All of these players are starters and extremely important to their current teams. As we reassess the importance of mid-first round picks let’s look at the lottery order to see who may take home the steal of the draft.

This mock draft was compiled with not only the player’s skill level in mind but the teams need at a position. Some players will be traded on the day off the draft but all the players listed will be drafted. Regardless of who teams pick this offseason will be the most exciting yet.
