Rising out of “The Field” of Springfield, MA is Robby Malic with his latest project “Flowers Before Funerals”

The Springfield native has been building a buzz in a growing Hip-Hop scene in MA with his unique chill melodic rapping ability. “Flowers Before Funerals” largely produced by Joenis gives us a glimpse into Robby Malic’s lifestyle since beginning his rap journey and how things have been changing around him as you can hear in the standout track “Same Way” as he contemplates on who he’s becoming and in his own words “We all share the feeling of feeling alone. We couldn’t be more together in that.” Another introspective cut from the album “Lost My Voice” reflects on Robby Malic’s path in “taking the city over” his heartfelt authenticity lyrics can be felt as you can hear the ruggedness in his voice as he talks about the challenges he faced in his journey and that “it’s time to take it OT.” Closing out strong with “Flowers (Outro)” he lays it all out demanding his Flowers be given now rather than later giving his most contemplative verse with breathless delivery that makes for a great listen.

“Flowers Before Funerals” the 2nd project by Robby Malic ultimately shows the artist growth in just about a 5 month span since he released his debut project “Who’s Robby Malic?”. Noteworthy tracks like “Same Way”, “Lost My Voice”, “LOOK AT EM”, “Long Time” and “Flowers (Outro)” are great examples of his relentless work ethic. Overall The 13 heart felt written tracks speaks to his craft as he starts to distance himself as “Flowers Before Funerals” is a breath of fresh air in this ever growing rap scene in MA but don’t take my word for it go ahead and stream the project below!!!!
